Date Rating: 💐🌸🌺🌷🌻 out of 5. What a weekend. I’ve been feeling blue so I decided to seriously get out of the house with a friend. I took a bike ride to Capitol Hill and got a candied salmon bagel from Call Your Mother. The bike ride was a little uphill and your girl was winded haha I just sat in the grass and took in the nice weather! Then I walked over to Eastern Market and bought this gorgeous bouquet of flowers after I saw another Black woman got them! Blue Iris Flowers is Black-owned and they have such a stunning selection! Every time I look at my coffee table, I instantly smile. I’m going to make it a bi-monthly little trip! I am a huge advocate in doing things to spoil yourself. I got some comments when I posted to my personal IG story that all centered around “You don’t need a man to buy you flowers”. And it’s funny because I didn’t even make a mention of a guy at all haha besides, can you imagine a straight man putting together an arrangement like that?!
